I think it’s autumn. Well, ok I am not so sure about this. The weather is crazy the last months here and it’s like sping before summer. Only the nights you feel some cold but the most of the day you are ok with t-shirts.

But my chrysanthemum knows that it’s time to blossom and give me those beautiful yellow flowers like every autumn.

As waiting autumn I also waiting my greens to grow. I already eat fresh green onions from my container garden but my other green salads need more time.

I receive some greek seeds from a seed organization and they give me a book also where many people from Greece offer their seeds. The bad think is that most of them don’t wrote the exact varieties they grow.

It’s the first time I try to save tomato seeds from the organic tomatoes plants I had in my plot and I was not sure if my seeds are good or not.

So I deside to try my seeds now. The weather is good like spring here, so I thought it has the right temperatures for growing my seeds. Now I have many seedlings and i don’t know what can I do with them because winter is coming soon.

I save seeds from 2 tomato varieties but I don’t know the names of these varieties because I just bought them from one nursery near the plot.

I also save seeds from my Yellow Pear tomato, but they are only 6-7 seeds and I don’t try them yet.

My container garden for autumn growing nicely and I like it very much.

It’s the second year I try to grow green onions from small onions and I harverst the first green fresh onions already. Maybe some time in the future I will try to grow onions from seeds.

We have October, the weather is really good now after the cold days of September and my tomato plants have many flowers in their stems.

Yesterday morning I harvest 2 more yellow pear beautiful tomatoes and I wait other 5-6 to grow. The readers from past months known that I plant these tomatoes in my containers very late, the summer,  and I didn’t expect to see any tomato so I feel very proud for my yellow tomatoes.

I had read that Yellow Pear tomatoes are strongest from other heirloom tomato varieties in low temperatures and I wait to see if I will have more tomatoes from these plants the next month.

My friends don’t understand what these “things” are because nobody knows “other color” of tomatoes here and it’s very funny situation.

I don’t have many seeds from this variety so I tried to save some seeds to replace the seeds I spend this year.

I had sown some seeds for my autumn container garden and these days I have the first green beautiful seedlings.

This is my first year in container gardening and it’s one experimental year mostly. I never grew greens in my life and is something funny for me now.
