I grow my first corn this year and I am very happy about this because it’s a special corn. My corn is a greek traditional variety and I found 8 corn kernels from a local small organization.
I gave 2 corn kernels in a neighbor and I have sown the 6 of them. I have sown the seeds in small containers because I wanted to save time. Now I have 4 corn plants and I will go to the plot next week to transplant them.
And finally we have tomatoes in my city garden. They are so small and I have no idea about the variety this moment. I will know the variety when they ripen.
Some gardeners used to keep a harvest account every year. It’s good idea if you want to know what your garden gives you except of pleasure and excercise. You can make it easily in paper or in one excel sheet or in a blog post.
I don’t keep my harvesting records until now because I don’t have a scale to weight my harvest. I must buy one. But I used to keep an account for my gardening expenses.

I don’t know if anyone enjoy the spring weeding, I am not. We continue cut weeds with hand tools and it’s not easy.
As I said again, I used to grow weeds in my property. Last year I pay a man with tractor to clean a part of the plot but this year I don’t.
Do you remember my Redhaven Peach tree? I plant this tree last year and now it has small peaches already.
But I don’t have only good news, I also have bad news for this tree.
