I have a problem with my climbing french beans seedlings, it seems that something eat them but I don’t have insects this moment in my plants. They grow from seed with these holes.

It’s the first time I try to grow climbing french beans. The seedlings are  from the seeds easygardener send me some months before, so I have no idea about them and if this happen normally or not.

Do you have any idea?

  1. @easygardener only the 2 of the 3 varieties you send me come up, maybe I must sow again some seeds for the third.

As for the problem of seedlings, I can’t see caterpillars anywhere and non of my other plants have ploblem. The funny is that they grow like this from their first moment. It seems to me that something eating them before they come up.

  2. Glad to see they have come up.
I think you have something nibbling on them. If you don’t get slugs or snails on the balcony – could it be small caterpillars of some kind?
