This year I decide to grow potatoes in plot so I left some potatoes to sprout these weeks. Now I think they are ready for planting and I will plant them the Monday probably.

With this I mean that I will go to plot finally. I have many months to go there, it was strange year. So I am happy now.

I have no idea about the variety of these potatoes. Here we call them with the name of the area they grow.  I search and find that the varieties they grow here are the Spunta, Agria and Liseta mostly. They also grow some other potatoes as Lola, Timate, Diamond, Nicola, Inova, Marfona.

The best potatoes in Greece grow in one area in eastern Macedonia where we have low temperatures and many snow in winter. You can easily call this area as potatoland.

I think we grow potatoes in our plot one more time but I don’t remember when.
