New seeds
Today I buy new vegetable seeds. Most of them are organics and certified by BIO-Hellas. I think it’s difficult to find many certified organic seeds in Greece, but ok you can find some of them. Maybe it’s difficult for me to find them, because I live in big city. People can’t plant vegetables in big cities here.

I buy these seeds for my plot.
Organic (Certified by BIOHellas)
- Spinach Winter Giant
- Lettuce Great Lakes 118
- Lettuce Romana Bionda
- Endive Riccia Pancalieri
- Squash Dark Markant
Organic (Certified by AB Agriculture Biologique – France)
- Carrots (Carotte Nantaise améliorée)
Not Organic
- Cabbage
- Brussels Sprouts

Hello, I found you on Blotanical and came over to read a while. I left this message at your very first post about the view of the sea, but I think something happened and it did not work so I will try to put it here. I hope you do not get two copies of it. If so, maybe you can delete one of them.
It is so interesting to read your blog, because your country and your garden are beautiful because it is so different from mine. Your sea view from your plot is so beautiful. And, yes, I do understand you. Your English is good, really.
I did not know tea could be made from the Linden tree. I wonder if you use the flowers or the leaves to make the tea.
I understand your concern for the next generation not knowing how to grow their own food, and not having a place to try to grow it. The knowledge and skill is dying with the oldest generation. This is a grim concern. I have seen many blogs of people here in the United States who want to learn how to do that. There is a ray of hope, but we need much more. It is good that you are doing what you can to grow some, as much as you can. Some people have only pots and container gardens, but they still enjoy growing some food. Here is a man who gardens in a very dry area of the U.S.A. and he gardens in pots and other containers. CLICK HERE
I hope your Jasmine is happy and well now, and I hope your trees do well and you get good fruit. You surly started many, many seeds. I did, too. I started too many
I hope you will not think I am too bold, but here is a link to my post about planting too many seeds for me to care for. Visit it only if you wish. CLICK HERE
I enjoyed my visit.
Welcome Barbie and thank you for your comment!
I use a plugin in my blog for spam. You had 2 links in your comments and for this reason need moderation. I must approve comments if they have links.
You know, I love the garden blogs because all of them are so different.
I’m happy that you can understand me. My first aim is to learn the vegetable and plant names in english. One month before I didn’t know the word “seedlings”
We use the flowers or the flowers with leaves for linden tea. Not the big leaves of the tree, the leaves which are with flowers (as you can see in my first photo).
This year is my first year in container vegetable gardening. It’s something like experiment for me.
I love your seedlings. I will read your blog soon!
(The other blog from desert I have it in my blogroll because I read it yesterday and I like it)
