All my life I had desktop. I work and design with my desktop. But when I am in my plot I can’t take it with me
So the plan was to buy a laptop, find money for a small solar panel for electricity and search for a satellite internet connection.
I search a lot for a good netbook. Finally I buy the eee pc netbook 1001P which has good battery and I can work at least 9-10 hours with a single charge (Intel Atom N450 1.66 GHz Processor, 1 GB RAM, 160 GB HDD, WLAN, 11 Hour Battery, Windows XP Home, White)). The netbooks have smaller monitor so they need less electricity than bigger laptops and 1001P has the new N450 processor inside which use less energy.
It’s a good netbook. I will buy it again. If I use it the night it’s better because I can have the monitor in the lowest bright and I spend less battery. I have it with me the last time I was in my plot and I didn’t use it so much because I didn’t have internet but the battery last 10 days. Yeah!
