I search something to connect gardening with green energy for the first post of my new category Green Energy.
I think I found something special. How many lemons do you think that you need for a led light or a calculator?
And how many potatoes?

I will close two years in garden blogging these days. I wrote my first post on May 20, 2008. These 2 years I learn many things, I wrote many posts, I also wrote about gardening in my other site which is in my language, I had many visitors, many comments, a good page rank in google and to be honest I love the people who gardening. Gardening blogs are the best place in web.
Now, after these 2 years I start Gaia’s Hope almost from zero. It’s funny. I must do so many things for the new domain. I change some small things in template, I submit the url in Google, I make a new twitter account (follow @GaiasHope ), a new email and I am sure that I must do many other things from scratch. It’s not easy to start again with a fresh domain.
I already explain some of the reasons for this change in my other post so I will not write again about this.
Gaia’s Hope it’s a nice name. I can use it not only for my blog but for my plot also. CityGarden it was ok for my container gardening but it was a strange name for my plot to be honest. I save seeds, I sow seeds, I grow new plants in city but most of them are for my plot actually.
Do you like it? What do you thing?
This year I had more tomato seedlings. It’s different when you have save seeds because you can sow as many as you want for free if you have enough space around.

Personally I need many plants because I can’t watering my tomatoes, so they will be survive the strongest of them. I sow many cherry tomatoes because they grow easier without watering.
It’s funny but in my country it’s difficult to find plant labels. You can’t see the plain white plant labels either in plant nurseries.

I bought my first plant labels from UK Ebay and I was ready to buy again but the last moment I see some plant labels in a leaflet from a discount super market (Lidl) which is German.
An absolute gorgeous advertisement for rainwater harvesting
It’s a video for the importance of rainwater harvesting, I hope you will like it as I am.
Enjoy!
