Start small in gardening or something like that
Well ok! The truth is that you must start small when starting with vegetable gardening. But I don’t have an idea how (me or someone else) to do this. If you start with gardening you can’t stop. You have those beautiful tiny seedlings which started from seeds and you feel in love with them. You don’t want to kill them. They are like babies.

And the other thing? You can’t choose what varieties you want to grow. You want to try all varieties but this is untenable. You must choose some varieties. You want the well-known vegetables, but you also want those strange unknown for your country vegetables. Hard decision!
And if you don’t have garden or plot or allotment or anything like “soil in the ground”, you have to buy containers and soil also. Many big containers. Every week you tell yourself that is the last container, but the next week you buy 1-2 more because you think it’s ok with money and space in your balcony.
And if you don’t have space ALWAYS you can find some space if you’ re moving your containers little and place them different in your balcony.
Well, the “start small” is good and wisdom advise but I don’t know if it is reality. When you start, you can’t stop. This is THE Reality my friends.
Hmm ok… I think that I heard you laughing…

Ha ha ha…I AM laughing, because I know how difficult it is to stay small, even when you start small. As you say, there is always one more plant. “Just one more, and then the garden will be complete.” There, ahh. It’s done. Oh, but what if I buy a packet of these seeds, and they will grow up and bloom as these early plants are fading. And then, what about just a few of these…and oh, these plants smells too delicious not to have one where I can smell it everyday…and on it goes!
there is no end…
Even after all the years I’ve been gardening and all the houses I’ve left because the garden was too small, today I’m struggling to find space for just a few more plants.
Yes, I’m smiling – a lovely post !!
hardworkinghippy welcome and thank you for the comment!
and the other thing? when the plants are small is ok, but when they grow it seems like jungle in the garden
