I want to write about this because it’s something strange for me. Some days before I tried to clean my basil seeds and I start sneeze. My basil seeds had the same effect in me like smelling pepper. I have no idea if this is normal or not.
Do you sneeze when you clean your basil seeds?
Greek basil is the basil here. It has very small leaves (less than 1cm long) and it ‘s common herb for many years. At the past, all people in Greece had basils in pots in their homes. As I search I found that Basil came to Greece from Great Alexander’s expeditions in India.

The name Basil (basilikos here) came from the greek word “basilias” (king). We use the word “basilikos” not only for the herb, but when we want to describe something that has some relation with kings as a palace, crown or for a reach lunch.

I have 3 Basil varieties now and this one is the biggest. It has big leaves and grow in a large container.

The problem is that I don’t know the variety name. I grow this basil for first year and I like it. I didn’t sow seeds, my mother plant small branchlets (I don’t know if this is the correct word). Any idea?
