It was really difficult for me to find the english name of the tree. The problem starts from Greek mythology, Homer, Odysseus and lotus-eaters. We use the word lotus for the tree and the persimmon fruits, but for people in other countries, lotus is something else.
I was searching in wikipedia and flickr to find the name because google can’t help me very much. In my family we love Persimmon fruits and we eat a lot of them in winter. For this reason we plant one tree in the plot some years before.
This month the fruits are green and the tree grow normally without watering from us. It’s not so easy to grow trees without watering but we give them a try.
