This year I decide that I want to harvest tomatoes in June so I start my seeds early on February 6-9. The days I start my seeds were lovely and sunny and warm. December and January we had very good warm weather also and I wanted to start my tomatoes before Christmas to be honest. But I was waiting to see what will happen the next months and finally I have sown the seeds in February
So… I sow my seeds with the same way as usually. Outside with clear plastic cover. The first days the sun love my seeds everyday. But one day… the sky was open as we said in my language. Rain, Storm, Wind, Crazy weather. I was afraid for my seeds so I decide to take the seeds inside.

I had sown some seeds for my autumn container garden and these days I have the first green beautiful seedlings.
This is my first year in container gardening and it’s one experimental year mostly. I never grew greens in my life and is something funny for me now.

Well ok, the tomatoes are not strange, but are strange for me surelly. They ‘re from seeds I received from U.K. 2 weeks before. We don’t have yellow or cream tomatoes in Greece, and I sowed the seeds at the end of May, because I want to watch the plants while growing.
I have 5 seedlings from one variety and 3 1 from other. They are “Cream Sausage” and “Yellow Pear/Cherry Bell” but I don’t remember what is what. I think the 5 seedlings are Cream Sausage tomatoes but I’m not sure. Yesterday I had 3 seedlings from the other variety, but today the hot sun kill 2 of them.
I didn’t sow many seeds, only 4-5 from each variety because I knew it was late. Next year I will start seeds in January or February. I don’t expect tomatoes from these plants this year, but I will be happy to watch them grew out of my window.
My seedlings grow and I hope that I will have healthy plants. I will go to my plot this week and I want to transplant my seedlings. I have too much work there and I will stay 4-5 days. I already dream the sea.
