Gardening again!
Last year I was sowing my tomato seeds from January. This year although we had very good weather I didn’t sowing anything until now.

This year we had many rains in June,no rain in July and 2-3 days with rainstorm in August. So my tomato plants in plot lived without watering from me. July it was a bad month for the plants and 3-4 tomato plants died but with many ripen tomatoes in their stems.

Usually I can go in my plot once a month and I stay there 4-5 days but in August I was there for 12 days. Everyday I had fresh tomatoes for my lunch and dinner so I feel happy.
Ok it’s official! I just found the first baby-tomato of the year and I have a big smile in my face.

The winner tomato plant is the heirloom variety “Bloody Red Butcher” and I grow it in a big container in my balcony.
My tomato seedlings growing and it’s time to give you my list with the varieties I will try to grow this year. Some of them I will try to keep them in city garden and the others will go to plot. The most tomatoes are heirloom tomato varieties and all of them are organic. Except of these varieties I grow 2 other organic varieties from the seeds I saved last year but I have no idea about the name of these tomato varieties.

These tomato seedlings were a big surprise for me because I didn’t sowed them in this container. I have no idea what variety they are.

Last year I had Yellow Pear Tomatoes in this pot and maybe they are Yellow Pear. On the other hand I sowed all my new tomato varieties for 2009 next to this container and maybe some seeds drop in pot by lapse or by the wind. I have no idea, really.
