My plot was green and full with wildflowers of spring. I love wildflowers, you can find them with so many different colors and shapes in green fields. They are the first signs of spring and I think all gardeners love spring and wait for these colorful signs of mother earth.

I like to take photographs of wildflowers, I think I want to make a photo collection with different wild flowers from Greece the next years. The difficult part with this photo collection is taxonomy. Some flowers are easy like poppy but for some other  flowers you need to search many hours or days until you can find the magical name.

One of the common Greek wild plants I can find around the plot is Spartium junceum.

We call this Mediterranean bush “sparto” and it blossom in spring. In some cases you can find it grew in gardens or streets. I love the beautiful yellow flowers of this plant.

The english name of this plant is Spanish Broom or Weaver’s Broom.
