While I was searching something in Flickr I found a series of photographs from a vineyard in France where a group of artists painted some old huts. The photographs taken by Annie in Beziers.

As I admired the transformation of huts in small work of art I search and found the website of this artist group, so you can see their work in their site if you want.

I like the way they blend their designs with the land, vines and wine of the area.

  1. These are good fun, aren’t they, a lovely addition to the vineyards, especially in winter when the vines are rather colourless. I’ve seen some of these as I live quite nearby. The huts are called mazets and originally they were for the vine growers to keep their tools in and to shelter from the sun while they were working in the vines.

  2. I really love those huts! I did’t knew you live near, well ok I don’t know many things about France.
I think it’s wonderful idea and make the people who work in vines happy.

  3. I just found your blog and I really have enjoyed it. My father in law is from Greece, although from Athens which I know is south of you.
These huts are beautiful, they sure do add nice color to the vineyards!

  4. Hi Catherine and welcome!
