Vegetable Garden plans – April 2011
When I was in plot in April I try to measure my vegetable garden and make a plan because I wanted to know how many digged empty space I have for my other vegetables and try to figure where I will plant them.

I make some symbols for the plants I already transplant in April and after that I measure that I have dug about 115 m². This is something like 1237 ft².

The weather is good with some clouds and some rains and this is very good because it means I can dig more space in May for my vegetables. Usually at the end of May you can’t dig the soil anymore. It’s like stone.
I remember the first year in plot where I try to transplant 10 tomato plants on the first days of June. I couldn’t open 10 small holes for the plants. I was digging many hours for 10 small holes.
The vegetable garden area created year after year. Every year we dig more space and make it bigger.

Kellog’s Breakfast? You grow your own corn flakes? Looks very neat your plan. I keep forgetting what I sow where. I’m not nearly as organised, but I suppose you have to be when you have to travel so far to your plot.
Kellogg’s Breakfast is a very big orange tomato. All the names except those who wrote what vegetable is are tomatoes.
It’s the first time I design a plan mostly because the plot is far but I have one more reason, I must remember what sow where for the next year planting. Next year I will plant my potatoes in the place I have onions this year.
Thanks for your comment on my corn post. The harvest has begun and the corn cobs are delicious! I was going to leave a comment here but wasn’t sure if you were still blogging…. I hope all is well at your plot when you go there again!
